Illumino-Lys upp is a wellness & painting business in Sweden. They offer yoga classes, as well as massage, and painting courses.
In March 2010 they had a store opening and needed Opening Invitations to send to guests. I designed something that would showcase the different aspects of their business.
They needed a new, modern logo that would have some connotations of their business. The circle in which the 'i' is enclosed has some resemblance to the yin-yang, for that specific purpose.
They also needed cards designed. I had them done so that his card had the paint blotches in the background, as he was the painter and hers had the yoga silhouette, as she was the yoga teacher.
The also required a list of prices. Based on the overall look of the business, I created something that would stay unified with the rest of their marketing assets.
They also needed a new website. This was the old website, where they didn't even have an "About Us" section. It was cluttered, it didn't have a brand and it was hard to find information.
I decided to create a clean design with an easy to navigate menu. The color scheme was meant to be traditional, but with a bit of vibrancy with the presence of the orange.
The inside pages were designed with less clutter in mind. Easier to navigate and the user could find the information quickly without having to look for it.
It was important to create an "About Us" page so that users and prospects could find out more about the owners and the business.
The contact page is a lot cleaner and less cluttered. The map is easy to distinguish and follow. There is a contact form so that the user can chose whether to directly contact the company or use the form to do it.
